SO CUTE!! We have two yellow lab/australian shepherd mixes and they chew like nobody's business - and they're almost 3 years old! I actually read something the other day that made me feel better about them though. Apparently the lab breed can be considered puppies until age 3 and show all the signs of puppies (playfulness, chewing, etc). I'm hoping that since they'll be 3 in the next couple of months they'll calm down a bit. Hey, a girl can dream right?
So if you think the pups bad...watch out for the baby. The time & energy you spend will be quadrupled and it will last a lifetime. Every time I am around mom's I hear constant complaining and I just want to say stop it, shake them, and tell them they need to realize how blessed they are. So many of these woman with all their negative comments makes it seem as though they don't even like their kids. I guess that's one thing about IVF, if you put yourself through all that, one would hope you would appreciate the outcome more. After a failed IVF we went into a sad dark time. We have struggled with whether to adopt, as well as stuggled with our relationship. One thing that has always made us smile though, is our dog.
All your pup needs is some good constructive commands. He sounds as though he is bright, but like children, needs direction. We took our pup to obedience classes and he was like a new dog. He ate the commands & the attention up. Praising him after sitting, staying, etc was better than any treat we could have given him. So a good Christmas present for each of you might be to sign him up for a obedience class or buy "Dog Training for Dummies" book.
I don't envy you going through the IVF, once was definetly enough for us.
LOL He kinda looks like he's trying to pass for a bunny slipper =)
